Katherine’s garden, her biggest inspiration, is in a state of re-building. Her Southern fence line, that is the
backdrop to her garden, studio/gallery, and life, was destroyed by a neighbor. Ivy, Star Jasmine, and climbing
roses that have thrived for 49 years are all gone.
A new fence line replaces it. New trees have been planted. The birds, butterflies, and other inhabitants are
starting to return to this little Eco system. There is hope in the new growth. The garden photos you see now
are as it was before the destruction. She has faith that she can make the new version special too. It will take
time, love, and her passion for her garden. She is the gardener! Best wishes!
